-in the mail-

This is the card that I pulled out of my maibox today.

Here’s a close-up of the creepy crawly contents of the card. (Who’s insane enough to hole punch that many bits of red paper and turn them all into ladybugs anyway?  Someone who knows me well, obviously.) And look at that little face smiling in the corner of the picture – looks mischievous, doesn’t he? He gets it from his mom.

And how often do you get  a letter in the mailbox with a command like this one??

Here’s the proof that I went to the snack shop and (against my will and better judgement) ate a Snickers bar.
And finally… here’s the glass of milk that balanced out my system and kept me alive.
Thanks for making me smile today, Amy!

Weird blend of cynical optimist. I'm the worst kind of woman. I'm high maintenance, but I think I'm low maintenance. Somehow, people still love me. Must be grace.

Thank you for the pictures documenting your joy. Did you have to say a verse to get your mail or did they just give it to you? 🙂 P.S. Just be glad those ladybugs haven’t been showing up in the oddest places around your house!
