I noticed some “unusual activity” on my blog this weekend. On days that I post something, there are usually around 45 views. This past Saturday there were 96 views, Monday had 82, and Sunday totally took the busiest-day-EVER-on-my-blog prize with a crazy 213 views. Weird.

That was the day after I posted a picture of Malin using a tile saw. Either I have friends who were very interested in Roger’s tile work or there’s a social worker somewhere wondering if she needs to come take my child away from me.

That’s funny. Why do I assume that a social worker would be a “she?” Are they always? In books they are. I don’t know that I’ve ever read a book containing a male social worker.

About ruthie.voth

Wife of one, mother of four, friend of many. Lover of details, color, good conversations, finding balance, and being honest. Passionate lover of a well-crafted sentence - even more so if it's witty. Weird blend of cynical optimist. I'm the worst kind of woman. I'm high maintenance, but I think I'm low maintenance. Somehow, people still love me. Must be grace.

I am quite sure you’d have plenty of good references for satements regarding your good parenting skills if needed. I never paid attention to details like that, but like you I would probably assume female social worker as well.

My thinking is probably curiosity killed the cat and friends of friends needed to check this out.
