-happy mother’s day-

Thirteen and a half years ago, I became a mother. Sweet, contented Judah.

This made MY mother very happy.

That amazing kid celebrated his 2nd birthday and had no idea how much his life was about to change.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a prettier baby less than an hour old. Wesley.

The first two boys were a success…

…so we decided to try for number three. Instead we got a sweet princess – Malin.

The boys were thrilled.

No, seriously, they really were.

At this point, we almost decided to call it good and raise our three children. Instead we changed our minds and our lives were blessed with this precious treasure of an Avery:

Malin was thrilled to have a new doll little sister to play with.

For years now I’ve secretly believed that these are the four cutest kids in the world.

We take very few family pictures. Only a small percentage of those turn out well.

I do love these kids who call me mom.

About ruthie.voth

Wife of one, mother of four, friend of many. Lover of details, color, good conversations, finding balance, and being honest. Passionate lover of a well-crafted sentence - even more so if it's witty. Weird blend of cynical optimist. I'm the worst kind of woman. I'm high maintenance, but I think I'm low maintenance. Somehow, people still love me. Must be grace.

Ruthie, they are very cute … but not quite as cute as my grandchildren. And, such individuals! They are each walking their own trail, creating very happy family memories indeed.
Love the mother and child pics.
