-sewing in the summer-

Thanks, Mom, for teaching me to sew when I was a kid. I did something I’m proud of. I even made my own pattern!

Danielle is wearing my practice apron. (I love that sister-in-law of mine.) Since that turned out decently well, I made a few alterations and used the bright fabric I’d picked out for myself. I pulled mine out of a wrinkly load of clothes in the dryer right before we took this photo. Oops..

Next up…. 2 more in different colors for the camp auction….

About ruthie.voth

Wife of one, mother of four, friend of many. Lover of details, color, good conversations, finding balance, and being honest. Passionate lover of a well-crafted sentence - even more so if it's witty. Weird blend of cynical optimist. I'm the worst kind of woman. I'm high maintenance, but I think I'm low maintenance. Somehow, people still love me. Must be grace.
