-tired, but happy-

This is what I did the day before yesterday:

end of the trail, beginning of the stairs

Amicalola Falls

(I love how the random stroller ends up in our family photo. Whoever it belonged to must have been carrying their kid up those 425 steps.)

Look at those smiling faces. Every one of these kiddos climbed the 600 stairs to the top of the falls.

And this is what I’ve done this morning:

Looks like I’m going to get to spend some good quality time with myself this afternoon.

I feel completely justified in saying my legs and back are tired. I also feel completely justified in eating cookies for breakfast.

  1. You’ve earned your cookies. And a good book to read.

I’ve got the good book to read – sadly, I don’t think I’ll get the time to read it until after the auction this weekend. I do plan to watch a good movie while I take care of all these green beans!

Looks like you had fun!!!! Where did you get your beans??? I really need beans and don’t know where to get any!!!!

I love the cookie comment. 🙂 I usually eat a cookie with a lot less work… 🙂 What kind of beans do you plant? I’ve been having a good bean harvest as well, but I don’t really like them – they come out hollow quite often, and the seeds are large and hard to chew (yuck). I wonder if it’s the type I planted…

Love the photos! We stopped in Bryson City and I didn’t get out of the car until we got home. (Sleeping Thad and Landis). Anyway, when I stepped out of the car, my legs were so stiff I could hardly walk, and I didn’t go up all the stairs. Hope the snapping goes well and yes, you deserve some cookies!

Lovely beans – I think cookies are in order too. The falls were beautiful but of course i didn’t do all those steps or see the falls from the same spots you did.-mainly at the end of the trail and then looking down from the top after driving up there. But it was a fun time.
